Day 2 Australian Open Results!

19 Jan

So Day 2 is over and it was another good day for the Spaniards. Only two out of seven Spaniards lost. I was able to watch more matches today. I watched David Ferrer’s and Rafa’s matches and spent many hours stressing over the scoreboard “watching” Feli’s match. Feli put in a strong and convincing performance to set up a second round clash with Tomic. Well Done on today and Good Luck for the next round wapo! Rafa’s match was a bit of a let down with Marcos Daniel having to retire but Rafa was in amazing form as always. Congrats and good luck against Sweeting in round two. And last but by no means least David Ferrer who apart from a slight nap in the third set (ok it was a big nap) played an amazing match. Was impressed with his attitude and the fact he remained calm and focused on the job! Great match today David and good luck against Russell in the second round.
